Biography
Alexandra Navarro was a Fulbright Scholar from 2023 to 2025. She is currently a Ph.D. student in Sociocultural Anthropology at the University of Kansas and a GTA for ANTH 160–360. She earned her M.A. in Global and International Studies at the University of Kansas and her bachelor’s degree in Law from Universidad Tecnológica de Honduras (UTH). Alexandra has professional experience as a lawyer and as a teaching assistant for undergraduates. As part of her Fulbright program, she also completed an English course at the University of Arizona. Her research interests include Human Rights, Environmental Studies, Law, and Violence.

Alexandra Navarro fue becaria Fulbright de 2023 a 2025. Actualmente es estudiante de doctorado (Ph.D.) en Antropología Sociocultural en la Universidad de Kansas y asistente de docencia (GTA) en ANTH 160–360. Obtuvo su maestría en Estudios Globales e Internacionales en la Universidad de Kansas y su licenciatura en Derecho en la Universidad Tecnológica de Honduras (UTH). Alexandra cuenta con experiencia profesional como abogada y como asistente de docencia para estudiantes de pregrado. Como parte de su programa Fulbright, también completó un curso de inglés en la Universidad de Arizona. Sus intereses de investigación incluyen Derechos Humanos, estudios ambientales, Derecho y violencia.
